Tacx "Speedmatic" Folding Magnetic Trainer
The Speedmatic features the traditional magnetic brake and a 1 kg balanced flywheel. The remote resistance lever changes the position of the magnets in the brake unit relative to one another. There are 10 different resistances available: from a light breeze on a flat road through to a steep hill climb. The indication scale shows the setting selected. The power increases as you cycle faster and/or at a harder setting.
